By Car  :  Motorway Florence-Roma

exit: Monte San Savino (coming from North)  

- Once exited at Monte San Savino, which is the 1st exit after Arezzo, you go right and follow the arrows for CASTEL FIORENTINO (11 km).

- when you start seeing the small town of C.Fiorentino on the hill in front of you (with a bell tower on top), look at your right and you will see another hill topped by a castle: this is the Montecchio castle, which stands right on top of La Torretta.

- when you get to the suburbs of C.Fiorentino, turn left to follow the arrow for AREZZO. Very soon you get to the main provincial road, and you turn right to PERUGIA/ CORTONA.

- approx 1 km later, you see on your left the Montecchio castle.  The road does a left turn, and you see the road sign "MONTECCHIO". On your right you have the restaurant L'Anfora and a sigarette shop with the typical big "T" sign.

- 50 metres after the "T", turn left in the direction of the castle and take a steep small road. After 300 metres you get to the church, which you will leave to your left end you will enter the church parking shown by a blue sign. Drive slowly, because the entry to the parking is a bit rough.

- you park your car . Now you are standing in front of La Torretta. Overall it took you 12-15 minutes from the motorway.

exit: Val di Chiana (from South)

- take the directions to SUPERSTRADA PER PERUGIA

- get out at the exit for Cortona.

- follow the directions to Camucia / Castel Fiorentino.

- approx 4 Km after exiting Camucia, you turn right 50 m before the "T" sign (see above descriptions)-
