I am today selling my farmhouse for personal reasons, but until very recently everything was planned and ready to restore La Torretta and transform it in a fantastic gathering point for our family and friends during our holidays, and as a source of rental income in the other periods of the year, when we couldn’t use it.

So, I already contacted an architect, we agreed on a renovation project, I thought quite in detail about the decoration, and I already went through all the cost budgetting aspects of the various phases. This is why I can advise you, if you like, about the renovation costs to expect.

Purchase Price

 "La Torretta" as it was before renovating the roof, including the land and annexes        :       €  395,000

  Cost of roof renovation , including accessories (copper rain pipes, chimneys,..)            :       €    65,000                                                                                                                                  €  460,000               

  Discount                                                                                                                €  - 30,000 

  FINAL PRICE, INCLUDING ROOF RENOVATION                                                        € 430,000.-

The above price includes the cost of the renovation project which had been executed for me, and which you can see in the "Maps & Drawings" section.                    

If you like it or part of it, I will be delighted to put you in touch with the architect who did it and who will be pleased to take it over from there and tune it to your specific taste, and subsequently do the full job, including obtainment of licenses,  execution of the works, etc..as explained in the home page of Italia Home. They will be your local eyes, ears and hands and you will be able to follow the renovation progress from your home country via email.

As an indicative figure for the renovation, consider approx Euro 180,000 to 260,000.

Renovation will include everything, ie: the floors, the walls, the doors and windows, the bathrooms, the kitchens, the swimming pool (approx 6m by 15 m), the heating system, the water system, the electric system, the sewage system, the deviation of the small road, planting of 10 to 15 cypresses and some oak trees, the architect fees, the works management, all procedures to obtain building and other permissions from local authorities, etc...
